Changing your way of writing is a good way of challenging yourself to find your voice. This exercise lets you play with air.
To find your voice, you sometimes have to change your way of writing. It won't always be good, but that doesn't matter.
You do it to play and experiment with different approaches to your voice. When you return to your usual writing method, it becomes stronger. More settled.
As a consequence of the five element writing concept, it's quite easy experimenting with different ways of writing. All you have to do is change the element.
In this exercise, you are going to change the element to air, and see what happens. Air is the element of dialogue, sound, and rhythm, so make sure you tune in on those characteristics.
