Proactive living.
It has been said many times, but it's still true. Especially for the unique individuals who are always up against conventional thinking.
It has become sort of a cliché in personal development over the years, but that doesn't mean it's wrong.
On the contrary, it's a natural prerequisite for wanting anything more out of life than the ordinary.
This is especially true for unique individuals, since we are always up against conventional thinking.
Our entire being is wired to separate ourselves from the crowd, but if we are not fully aware of it, we risk being assimilated with the general norm of our respective society.
True dedication
To fix that, we have to exercise proactive living every day, and it's hard.
Sure, we can all do it for 2-3 weeks, but then we fall back into the behavioral patterns of the masses, unless we are extremely focused.
It takes true dedication to live proactively, and we cannot do it alone. We need our tribe of unique individuals around us to make it work.
Proactive step
Having said that, what we can do on the individual level is to take a proactive step towards our higher purpose every day.
Just one. Even if it's a small one, it makes a big difference.
Our fear and self-doubt cannot exist within us when we take such action. It is dissolved by it.
There is a perfectly good reason for it, which I talk about in this mini-talk.
