One of the basic ingredients in life is emotional pain, and we all have unsustainable coping patterns to deal with it.
It's not pleasant having to face such patterns, because it means facing our pain too, but it's something you have to do.
There is no way of going through life without it.
The good thing about it is that underneath your pain you find truth, and the greater the pain, the greater the truth.
As a consequence, by exploring your pain you are on the trail of your deepest truths, and if you do it well, they can give you the biggest transformation as a person.
